flag-09-footerThe gates to this years Celebrate America Patriotic Musical at Twin Oaks Park in Rocklin, CA may have closed, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t continue to celebrate this great country we live in every day.

On our “About” page we share with you the story of how Kent Ferrin Creative Arts Director for Celebrate America launched the very first “Singing Flag”  21 years ago in Concord, CA. In an effort to get the word out about their event we want you to support their event that is coming up this weekend. If you had a great time at our Celebrate America event and have any family or friends in the San Francisco Bay Area then you need to tell them to go to The Flag 2009.

They can plan to join them this Thursday, Friday or Saturday as they present The Flag 2009 at Dave Bruebeck Park in Concord, CA. Their FREE Patriotic Musical will be presented at 7:30pm every day to an average of 7,000 people. In fact, people will start arriving at 6am each day to lay down a blanket in the spot they wish to see the performance.

We are so blessed to live in this Country. Let’s not lose those feelings we all had Saturday night after leaving Celebrate America. Let’s continue to talk about and share great events or things that are happening with one another. If you see, hear or know of someone in your community that is finding their own way to celebrate  America let us know about it.
