Service Dogs For Wounded Vets

July 29, 2009 by: Rodney

vetsforheroesI saw this report on the Fox Report with Shepard Smith the other day and it opened my eyes to how service dogs are helping US service members get around after being injured in the war. The unfortunate thing is that the US Government doesn’t pay for our military veterans to get these service dogs.

That’s until World War II veteran Irwin Stovroff found out this was happening and decided to do something about this issue. In the past 3 years his Vets Helping Heroes organization has raised $2 million dollars and provided over 100 dogs to a new generation of  wounded vets.

I can’t imagine why you do not have an address to send a check for this worthy cause. I don’t like using a credit card but want to support this! Please send me an e-mail Thanks, Pat Claiborne

Let me make sure I understand your idea. We place your poster on our homepage here at Celebrate America. You’ll in turn donate to Celebrate America $10 for every poster you sell. Is this what you’re looking for? If so, please e-mail the .jpg picture of the poster and the website it should link to to Debbie Wells dwells@sunsetchristian.com.
