TC-19487-MainIconBob Calvert is the founder and host of “Talking with Heroes” a talk show based in Colorado Springs, CO. His involvement in supporting our troops began almost 8 years ago as a result of his then 18 year-old daughter surprising him by enlisting in the Army. Her boyfriend (later her husband) had already enlisted in the Army. He was not sure how to support her so he started “Talking With Heroes” to show his support and appreciation.

His Talking with Heroes program is not about politics. They are about helping, honoring, and supporting our men and women in the military and their families. They give our military personnel an opportunity to share their mostly untold stories about the work they are doing worldwide.

They believe that the American people have a right to hear their positive progress stories and our military personnel have a right to have their stories heard. They also interview military support and veterans groups for them to share what they do to support our troops, their families, the wounded and more.

They have been to Iraq three times over the past two years. From their most recent third trip to Iraq, Americans can listen to men and women from our Army, Marines, Navy, National Guard, Air Force, Army Corp of Engineers and Iraqis on progress in Iraq.

Their programs are available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week for people to listen to. Check out who they’ve interviewed and listen to some of their programs.
